Punjabi University Patiala has announced the dates of final year exams. The final year exam decided to start from 25 September. Under this, practical examinations of these classes will be completed by the college / department principal / head by online mode at their level by 19 September 2020. While the time for solving the paper in the Theory Exams will be 2 hours, during which the student will solve 50 percent of the question paper and keep in mind that he has scored 50 percent of the total marks.
In view of the Kovid-19 epidemic, the university is trying to adopt such a method that the students can solve the paper sitting at home. Necessary guidelines in this regard will be released soon. Instructions related to the examinations will be fixed from time to time and posted on the website.
In a letter issued by the university, students have to download question papers regarding the theory exam, if they do not have the facility of download at home, then they can do it in a nearby cafe or college. Also, students can write copy and send it through speed post. However, the university will release the entire guidelines regarding this.
UGC directive - Admission in PG will continue even after September 30 According to the instructions of the University Grant Commission, now students can be admitted RG even after 30 September 2020. Dean Academic Affairs PU Dr. Gurdeep Singh Batra informed that admissions will be made for post graduate courses in PU under these guidelines. According to the directive issued by the UGC on 31 August, the RG admission process will continue.
Online viva may not be practiced Balwinder Tiwana, former Control PU at the University's Online Practical, said that online practical is difficult. Students can take viva on online mode but physical practical and practical of other subjects is not possible. The university's letter has also not been given full information yet.
