After Bharat Biotech’s vaccine against SARS-CoV-2 got approved for human trials, a second Indian vaccine by Zydus Cadila Healthcare has also gotten approval for phase I & II human testing.

These vaccines have proven effective in animal trials so far. Various institutes across the country have been identified for this phase of testing.

In these phases, the vaccines will be tested on around 1000 people.
